Time to reflect

Sea squirt and toxic algae bloom

No wonder so much doom and gloom

Other factors now unknown

Perhaps now reaping what we have sown

Time maybe we should join a gym

Told no longer should we swim

On beaches some have died

And for them some have cried

So far mammals, fish and dogs

Time to put away your togs

No not a total environmentalist

But this subject could not be missed

Why worry it’s Auckland you may say

We all live in Whangarei

Well no matter which city I do roam

It is New Zealand I call home

Speaking for our harbours, not being PC

What and who pollutes our sea?
