Accuracy of surveys - Yeah right

Your recent article analysing the recent survey or opinion poll conducted in Whangarei on behalf of the Whangarei District Council about their performance, has a little something I wish to add to perhaps clarify the accuracy of such surveys. One of the questions related to “conduct of Council Meetings.” On questioning the five regular and normally only attendees of open public Council meetings, not one of us were involved in the survey. Therefore how accurate can the results be? Then again, as a child I watched a TV program called ‘The Invisible Man’ and I didn’t believe that either. Who are they asking?

Roll on October 2010 Whangarei may become an even better place to live.
